Join Jo Boaler and the youcubed team on the Stanford campus and learn how to teach math with a growth mindset!
Each session is geared for K-12. The content is middle and high school and it will directly apply to secondary content. With adaptation it can be used with upper elementary. Each session includes:
Kick-off and closing sessions featuring Jo Boaler, Professor of Mathematics Education at Stanford University
Two days of professional development in the methodology and curriculum that was used in the youcubed summer math camp, taught by experienced youcubed staff
Activities such as working on math tasks, discussing the methodology of the mindset mathematics teaching, and watching video with teaching examples and student perspectives from the youcubed summer math camp
The curriculum from the youcubed summer math camp in a take-home binder (made available exclusively to workshop participants to ensure high quality implementation)
