About The Vagina Monologues:

We are the Stanford University college campaign for the global movement to stop violence against women and girls. We are allied with the national V-Day organization, which helps to coordinate all college V-Day groups to combat violence against women and girls. Our main fundraising effort is our annual production of The Vagina Monologues, a play based off a book with the same name by Eve Ensler, who conducted a series of interviews with women about their sexuality and sexual history. Each year, the Stanford campaign selects a beneficiary that is aligned with our goals, has need for funds, and has proven to be a great asset for the women that it aids. This year we are donating our proceeds to San Francisco Women Against Rape in hopes of supporting them through the monumental work that they do in assisting survivors of sexual violence. SFWAR is close to our hearts and has proven to effectively use funds to support and protect the women it aids.
