Sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan is in residence at the Department of Music this spring to teach "Indian Classical Music: A Way of Life." One of thegreatest living proponents of North Indian classical music, Amjad Ali Khan has received numerous prestigious awards and has performed in the great concert halls of the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Royal Albert Hall, and the Palais Beaux-Arts.
